Mary Vander Loop from Park and Victor Haen Schools in Kaukauna, WI called me today and said many teachers, including herself, were very excited that J. J. Keller was involved in the Iditarod® and really appreciated the newspaper article in the Appleton Post-Crescent.

"Victor Haen Elementary has covered every aspect of the Iditarod for years. The entire school (440 students) knows the Iditarod Trail Song by heart and each grade level does an annual Iditarod-related research project. "K" will stand for J. J. Keller in this years alphabet book. Students follow the race and the Mushers. The Iditarod offers numerous educational avenues for supporting the curriculum and the students LOVE it."
